Objects d'Active Worlds is a donation-based website for RenderWare® script (RWX) objects used in the Active Worlds 3D virtual reality online environment.

Objects d'Active Worlds was begun by Lucrezia Borgia and Wascally Wabbit as a courtesy to Active Worlds world owners, architects, object creators, and artisans. The site was maintained and updated by Eep˛ and is now maintainted by Casay.

All of the objects on Objects d'Active Worlds are free for use in personal and commercial worlds in Active Worlds and as-is, and may require modification for use in Active Worlds. Be sure to visit the Objectd' world in Active Worlds where you can see all the objects.

To the best of our knowledge all of these objects are here with the knowledge and permission of the artists/donators. It is hoped that in return for objects aquired from here, more artists will contribute to Objects d'Active Worlds in an effort to encourage world building and object development.

Direct all comments, complaints, inqueries, questions, problems, and suggestions to Casay.

If the pull-down JavaScript menu doesn't work for you, use the site index instead.

Thumbnail images will be accessible by clicking on object descriptions. Any texture(s) will either be inside object ZIPs or listed in the textures column.

If anyone can make a PHP-MySQL database or CGI/Perl script to handle object additions on the site itself, possibly letting people update their submissions (like a database for each artist/donator), it would make managing this site SO much easier and allow it to expand quickly and effectively. The script would unpack the ZIP, scan for any RWX and JPG/BMP files, extract the RWX poly/vert counts and dimensions, and texture names, then throw it all into an HTML-formatted queue file which, when verified, the script would update the specified category's HTML file with the new entry. This is similar to how WebRing works. If anyone can do something like this, please email Casay.
